KLA Parents and Students,  

     I hope this letter finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe. Please review the details below  regarding the Laptop, Hotspot, and Library Books Return process. To minimize possible exposure to COVID 19 and to remain compliant with public health mandates, we are asking that students/parents remain in  their cars and follow the directions of the employees on site. Please have a piece of paper with the following information visible: STUDENT NAME AND TEACHER NAME (see sample below) in the window for staff to view easily.

In addition to the student and teacher’s name, please be sure to complete the following before arrival:  

1. Devices Return Form - KLA Devices and Library Book Return 2021.
2. Prepare your device as instructed here: Device Checklist 

Reminders:  

• Please make sure your device is charged and bring your laptop power cord with you. This will expedite the laptop check-in process tremendously.

o Please note: Lost/missing power cords will result in a charge ($25 – Lenovo laptops, $25 – Tablets, $25 for Chromebooks). If you lost your power cord, please come  prepared with the fee associated with the device (CASH and CHECK only).  

• Be sure to inspect the device and take pictures prior to returning the device.

• In the days following device collection, the laptop/hotspots/tablets will be inspected for internal damage. If damage is found, you will be notified via email of the costs incurred for those damages. • Computers Outstanding Debts 2021-Please be sure to click the link to check for any outstanding debts you may have with the library. These debts need to be settled in order to receive your diploma. Please note:  This Computers Outstanding Debts 2021 does NOT include items that are currently checked out, only past due items.  A complete list of all items checked out to your account will be sent next week by e-mail.

              When you arrive at the school, please adhere to all social distancing guidelines and have your nose and  mouth covered (see below for details*). Our staff will also be adhering to the public health guidelines on  social distancing and following established public health and district protocols. We will be offering both drive-up and walk-up distribution processes. This will not be a time for students to socialize, so please  discuss with your children the need to practice social distancing at all times.

 Padres y Estudiantes de KLA,  

     Esperamos que al recibir esta carta usted y su familia se encuentren bien. Hay detalles importantes que necesita leer para saber el proceso de regreso del equipo de cómputo, caja de zona con cobertura inalámbrica (Hotspot) o Libros de biblioteca que le fueron prestados. Para minimizar la exposición a COVID 19 y para seguir los lineamientos de la salud pública, les estamos pidiendo que tanto padres como alumnos permanezcan en sus carros y sigan las instrucciones del personal de la escuela.Por favor en una hoja de papel escriba la siguiente información en letra visible y de buen tamaño: Nombre del estudiante y nombre del profesor ( Por favor vea el ejemplo de abajo), coloque el papel en el parabrisas de su carro para que el personal escolar lo pueda ver fácilmente.

          Además de la hoja con el nombre del estudiante, por favor asegúrese de  imprimir,

 llenar y revisar los siguientes documentos antes de su llegada al plantel, esto para

 agilizar la recepción de componentes:

     1.Formato de Regreso de Dispositivos:  KLA Devices and Library Book Return Form 2021.

2. Prepare el equipo de Cómputo de la siguiente manera:Return Procedure

Recordatorio:  

• Por favor asegúrese que su dispositivo está cargado y traiga con usted el cargador de la computadora. Esto acelerará el proceso de espera tremendamente.

NOTA:Los cargadores perdidos u olvidados en casa tendrán que ser pagados  ($25 dólares para computadoras Lenovo, $25 dólares para Tabletas, $25 dólares para Chromebooks).En caso de haber perdido o roto el cargador, por favor venga preparado con el monto a pagar, aceptamos efectivo y cheques solamente.

• Asegúrese de revisar su dispositivo de cómputo y tome fotos antes de entregarlo al personal escolar. 

• Los días siguientes a la entrega de las computadoras, estas serán inspeccionadas para ver                                                                                        si no hay ningún daño interno. En caso de que se encontrara algún daño usted será                                 notificado del costo de la reparación por medio de su correo electrónico.

• Por favor asegúrese de revisar el siguiente enlace Computers Outstanding Debts 2021, para ver si su estudiante no tiene ningún adeudo relacionado con las computadoras o accesorios.  Cualquier adeudo deberá ser cubierto para poder recibir el diploma de su hij@. Nota importante: Los adeudos en esta lista Computers Outstanding Debts 2021 no incluyen los dispositivos prestados de este año, solamente incluyen adeudos anteriores a Mayo 27,2021.
