Dear KLA Leaders
My name is Judy Wang, and I am beyond excited to join this community of learners as the STEM teacher for the upcoming school year. My passion is bringing science into the classroom, and I hope to spark a love for discovery and critical thinking.
Before joining this team, I was an engineering teacher at a project based learning school in San Diego. Prior to that experience, I was a founding teacher at a charter school in the San Francisco Bay Area area where I served my commitment to Teach For America.
Currently, I am working on my Masters degree for Digital Age Learning and Educational Technology at Johns Hopkins University. I earned my Bachelor’s degree at University of California Berkeley in Psychology.
This summer was extremely eventful, as my husband and I got married. It was wonderful to celebrate such a special season in our lives with family and friends. We also adopted a mini dachshund puppy named Pocky, who have kept us busy at parks, beaches, and even hikes.
I look forward to meeting you, and working in partnership to best serve our students. You are always welcome to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Here’s to a great year ahead!
