Hello, KLA! My name is Mrs. Robbins and I am proud to say this is my eleventh year at KLA! I am excited to begin another year here with all the staff and students!

I am the 8th grade ELD REACH teacher and will be working with students to succeed in reading, writing, listening, and speaking across the content areas. If you are a parent of one of my students, please read my letter and syllabus through the links on this page.

Additionally, as a Language and Literacy Coordinator, my job is two fold. First, my goal is to ensure all students have the opportunity to read, write, listen, and speak with purpose every day. I work with teachers and students in K-8 to ensure our language program builds upon itself and every student has the maximum opportunity to practice language.

Secondly, as a coordinator, I work hard to bring both the primary and secondary schools together to fulfill the vision of Keiller Leadership Academy to create student leaders who value quality education and embrace their role as contributing members of our diverse community. It takes dedication from every person at the school to achieve this goal. I make it my mission to model and encourage the positivity and collaboration necessary for KLA to excel at this endeavor.

Feel free to contact me at any time. My door is always open to parents, teachers, staff and students.

Sincerely,

Christy Robbins
