Dear Students and Families of Room 4,

I am looking forward to an exciting school year!  I am very excited to be returning for my third year at KLA!  I bring to the classroom a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona and a M.Ed. in Montessori Education from Loyola University Baltimore in conjunction with the Montessori Institute of San Diego.  In my career, I have held various positions in education including ELL teacher, instructional assistant and even a trainer of teachers in West Africa!

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy exercising, spending time with friends and family, reading, watching sports and traveling!  I spent this past summer traveling many places including Ohio and all over the Pacific Northwest!

Over the coming school year, I expect that all students will treat each other with kindness and respect, creating a safe space for learning.  My goal is that all children will grow as readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, learners and leaders.

Welcome Back to School!
