Welcome to 8th Grade Physical Education students and parents. Within this course it is my main duty as a Physical Educator to help all students transition smoothly from 7th to 8th grade in a physical and healthy manner. All students will have more responsibility and are required to give full and maximum effort in all activities, leading to maximum points within our grading system. Our mission, as defined by the California State Framework for Physical Education, is to develop a physically educated person who has mastered the necessary movement skills to participate confidently in many different forms of physical activity, values physical fitness, and understands that both are intimately related to health and well-being.
