ACADEMIC GRADES

Physical Education Mission Statement

Our mission, as defined by the California State Framework for Physical Education, is to develop a physically educated person who has mastered the necessary movement skills to participate confidently in many different forms of physical activity, values physical fitness, and understands that both are intimately related to health and well-being.

CITIZENSHIP GRADES

The citizenship grade follows the school wide grading rubric (see student handbook).  This grade will be based upon the REACH values, specifically to maintaining a fair and positive attitude, the ability to follow class rules, guidelines previously listed, and the ability to display appropriate social behavior during the entire class period (bell to bell).
